Generative AI Policy

The Journal of Science Research and Reviews (JOSRAR) recognizes the growing use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies in academic research and scholarly publishing. The journal supports the responsible, ethical, and transparent use of these tools in accordance with international publication ethics and COPE guidelines.

Policy Statement

The Journal of Science Research and Reviews (JOSRAR) does not permit the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools to write, generate, paraphrase, or substantially revise any part of a manuscript submitted to the journal.

Scope of Prohibition

This prohibition applies to:

  • Title and abstract
  • Main text and methodology
  • Discussion and conclusion sections
  • References and citations
  • Cover letter and response to reviewers
  • Tables, figures, and supplementary materials

All manuscripts must represent the original intellectual and written work of the authors.

Author Responsibilities

Authors must declare any use of AI-assisted tools (including ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar platforms) at the time of submission. However, any use of GenAI for manuscript writing is considered unacceptable and may result in:

  • Immediate rejection
  • Manuscript withdrawal
  • Retraction of published articles where applicable

Authorship and Accountability

GenAI tools cannot be listed as authors or contributors. They cannot take responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, originality, or ethical soundness of the research work.

Reviewer and Editorial Guidelines

Reviewers and editorial team members must not upload manuscripts, peer review reports, or other confidential journal materials into public or unsecured AI platforms.

Commitment to Research Integrity

JOSRAR maintains a zero-tolerance position on AI-generated or substantially AI-revised manuscripts to protect scholarly originality, research integrity, and scientific transparency.
